I have tried to give him a fair price for the stuff but he will only take face even though he knows they are worth more than that. |

Cool guy!! I have found some tellers like that but most know about their silver value and keep them for themselves. I only way I have found any is in unsearched rolls. Most have been searched so it has been quite a while since I have found any silver. Congrats on your find!!

I think many don't realize that the 40% silver exists. I had a similar experience at a bank where I got $13.00 in loose halves of which $6.00 were 40%.
