Bertensgrad, I already have a complete Basic Flying Eagle set (56, 57, both 58's), but if you can find a 1857 type of 56 (which I didn't see doing a quick look at the "O" in "OF" on the 57's listed) or a 58/7 then you might be on to something...

At this point I'm really leaning towards 2 Half Cents even if they are overpriced relative to ebay. Viewing this as a gift not a purchase eases my mind about the price. If somebody at work said thanks for your help and then tossed me two Half Cents for doing my job I'd be pleased as punch!

Keep the suggestions coming!!!

Looks like a real set to me it comes in original mint packaging and not in the plastic holders like you must be talking about. Click the link and you can see it for yourself.

I would do this Half Cent and then some proofs hoping for a valuable DDO like a 71 or something. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0178...ds=half+cent

When does this end

Tweak800, I had my eye on that coin already but since you posted it a Merc is headed your way.

You need to turn your PM on so I can contact you for your address

I still have $95 balance, so it looks like I will have 2 winners to this contest. Keep the choices coming people!

How about a very nice USAoPI Half Centavo and whatever supplies you happen to be running low on?

http://www.amazon.com/1903-Philippi...=philippines

or an MS-64+ Morgan
http://www.amazon.com/1887-Morgan-D...n:9212140011

This 1900-O is a very fair price according to Numismedia
http://www.amazon.com/1900-MORGAN-S...36:7500-9900

OK I'm done. lol I stuck with the graded coins because, for some reason, I am not super comfortable buying raw from Amazon.

I'm officially closing this contest. I sent a VG/F 1917 Mercury dime to "800tweak" last week (I hope you've received it)for suggesting the following coin which I now own.

NGC 57'th Street Collection 1806 VG-10 with a rotated reverse.

The balance of my Amazon $$$ went towards a "BB-8" robot for my daughter Emma's recent 11th birthday. Happy Birthday kiddo
