I had the VAM 3 and 4 + their die states on these for awhile before I sold all of them. Kinda miss them a bit now but when you need money you need money. This one looks 65 to me. grade the coin not the slab. the coin is not a 66. if this went to PCGS it would most likely come back at 64 or 64+

Obverse 65+, reverse 67. They netted it out at 66. I think it's fairly graded.

the Morgan below, although not the same year as yours, with cleaner devices graded by PCGS at MS64 which I thought would be at least 65 with a good shot at 66. along with the weaker reverse strike, although a nice coin, I still think PCGS would give your coin no more 64+ there are way too many defects along with the weaker reverse to make 66   |
