after a few (expensive) purchases in my chase to get every country, I'm now up to 1000 types, 200 countries, and 265 issuers.

It might also be interesting to see how many coins some collectors here have one layer lower in the onion ... French States, German States, Italian States.


(... since "countries" usually refers to a higher level aggregation that we are using in this thread).

For example, in the last year I added 6 Italian states, but it didn't change the country count.

Maybe a different thread?
