I was talking about the other side of the item not the coin.
I think you should not try and remove the coin,leave as is.

Yes, you are right, no extra value. It's strictly a novelty item. I would say that it's worth nothing as is, but if you removed the coin, it would be worth 50 cents.

Its worth 50 cents (USD) if you can get it out, but it might cost you a few pounds to get it out.

Yeah I agree, just leave it as is. Plenty of '73 Kennedy's to be had out there, in even better condition!

Warning: It is very hard to crack coins out of the plastic. It is extremely hard and often breaks into sharp pieces. Another reason to leave it as it is.
