Quote: Don't forget the S mint quarters. Do you mean the Proof coins? I didn't include those, or do you mean the W mint?

Quote: The mint classifies the approx. 3m annual Kennedy half yearly coin production since 2011 as circulating Actually the website states: Quote: Coins minted for numismatic bags, rolls, and boxes are produced in the circulating departments of the United States Mints at Philadelphia and Denver, and may be shown in circulating totals. Kennedy half dollars were NIFC from 2002-2020. They were only available through numismatic rolls, bags, and boxes. Quote: Thanks CollegeBarbers, added it to first post You're welcome!

Great info, thanks. I was watching a CRH video, and he found some NIFC halves. Didn't know what coins to look for. An internet search brought me back "home" to this post!

I'll add that 2009-2011 Native American dollars are normal circulating issues, and 2018 half dollars were also released for circulation, based on mintage and CRH observations. I'm unsure of 2017 D. I find more of them than others, and the mintage is higher than other NIFC issues. 2019 seemed to be back to NIFC, and 2020 and beyond were all released for circulation.

Picked up $120 worth of customer wrapped halves while getting my penny fix today. Found one NIFC 2004-D Also six 2024's (five D & 0ne P) Not sure if these qualify for NIFC, but I saw that only 5.7M were minted.
