Just circulation damage along with the other damage on the face.
There is no way for a recessed Z to happen during the striking of the coin.

It's damage from a hit that resembles a Z.

Zeppelin tribute coin - "In 1971, Led Zeppelin primarily "made" and released the songs on their fourth album, Led Zeppelin IV, which included "Black Dog," "Rock and Roll," "The Battle of Evermore," "Stairway to Heaven," "Misty Mountain Hop," "Four Sticks," "Going to California," and "When the Levee Breaks". Zeppelin tribute coin - Great memories...my first concert 1977 Pontiac Silver Dome. A member here (can't remember their name) has a tag in their signature "when I listen to Led Zeppelin...so do my neighbors" smat |
