I agree, it is not a Doubled Die, but keep at it you will hook the winner sooner rather than later.

I appreciate your enthusiasm! Here is my recommendation. Rather than trying to find doubled dies in your personal stash of coins, which is very unlikely, start with 2006-2021 nickels. There are many minor doubled dies on modern nickels, and identifying them will give you a lot of grounding with scope and coin work. Mastering those skills makes it way, way easier to hunt more valuable coins.
Just my 2¢.

Move the lights away from the coin or use some sort of diffusion From looking at this and your other post it seems you are seeing the reflection from where the letter meets the field and are thinking that is doubling.

Looks like a normal 1958 with angled lighting.

The answer is the same as in your previous thread. It's not DDO-001.

Same coin as before - so I merged the 2 topics you created for this coin.
and it still is not the DDO-001.

Again, as stated before, it's not DDO-001. No offense, but I am getting tired of telling you that it's not DDO-001. In your other thread, everyone is telling you that it's not DDO-001, including me. If you look at the link I provided, it would be very obvious to the naked eye and wouldn't need any magnification to see. DDO-001 is also extremely rare and the chances of finding one is almost zero. http://varietyvista.com/01a%20LC%20...8PDDO001.htm

A 1958 DDO-01 is scarer than the 55 DDO-01, sorry to say this is not it. Keep checking you'll find something of interest but highly unlikely of finding the 55 or 58 DDO-01s.
