Are These "struck Through Grease" Errors In Lincoln Pennies? Rare, Valuable?

Errers and Varietys Bedrock of the Community United States 79057 Posts	Posted 06/16/2026 01:09 am All I see is coins with damage ( PMD) and Die Chips. The first coin has corrosion on it. Errers and Varietys Bedrock of the Community United States 79057 Posts	Posted 06/16/2026 01:46 am Pretty much. Die Chips are very common on Wheat Cents from the 1950's. Some are collectible, like the BIE Die Chips. Also, if the Die Chip is huge, it can carry a premium over face value. In this case, I don't think your coins with Die Chips in the 5 of the date carries any premium. Errers and Varietys. Report this Post to the Staff

Dearborn Moderator United States 106822 Posts	Posted 06/16/2026 11:42 pm the 1915, 1953 and the 1955 just show die chips (the 1953 also shows copper corrosion too) The 1957 and 1952 are damaged possibly by a Gumball Machine.
