I have several 2001 platypus 20c coins that were struck with a die that was about to shatter, so the 2 bob will have some great company, if I win it. Your 20c from P1 is, as you already know, road kill. Yesterday I took delivery of 2 x wavys that I bought privately! My newest babies. I have converted it to monochrome (grey scale) to keep finer detail intact for your viewing pleasure. My guess is it has been tumbled. nealeffendi Pillar of the Community Australia 852 Posts	Posted 11/12/2011 11:22 pm The posters coin has damage from being on a road (I know because I walk at least 10 hours/week for excercise and I keep an eye out for free money so I pick up at least 10 coins/week with similar damage). Jeff, the damage on that 50 cents is consistent with some form of tumbling damage but must have been in there for a while to get that battered. Report this Post to the Staff
