With the exception of 1776-1976, all Kennedy half dollar proofs from 1971 to 1991 are Cu-Ni clad.
For 1975-76 a special 40% silver clad was available (as part of a three piece set with the quarter and dollar) in both uncirculated and proof versions. This was in addition to the Cu-Ni clad found in the normal annual proof sets. This is the same 40% silver clad used for 1968, 1969, and 1970 Kennedy half dollar issues.
Also keep in mind that no half dollars were minted with 1975 or 1976 dates. All half dollars from these two years bear the 1776-1976 dual date for the bicentennial.
