DavidZerbato Pillar of the Community United States 1081 Posts	Posted 11/22/2011 8:06 pm I just came into a hoard of 26 US bills. I am a coin collector and not a currency collector. I wanted to know what to look for, what are some rarer notes. There are no star notes or Radar notes. I'll list what I have and then post pics later on. All notes are circulated, although there are a few nice older $5 notes. If you can, can you please offer an opinion as to possible value? Are these mostly just face or small premiums? However, the Yellow seal notes could have values of 10x face or higher, depending on condition. Pics would be much appreciated! Report this Post to the Staff

D0ubl3Eagle Pillar of the Community United States 5854 Posts	Posted 11/23/2011 12:02 am The $1 legal tender would be worth around $85-90 in fine but they were only series 1928 and not 1928F. The two North Africa Emergency notes(Yellow seals) look like they are worth around $35-40 a piece. The rest look like they would be worth around 2-3x face. Report this Post to the Staff

Jay Kristofferson Valued Member United States 87 Posts	Posted 12/01/2011 6:34 pm You asked about one having a low serial number. The best ones are numbers 1-9 of course and then 10-99 I suppose. Below is a low numbered note but not as desirable as a more common note like a silver certificate. Low numbers on Nationals are more likely because there were not so many notes produced.
