I have a few coins left that I cannot ID. Please help. (I'm going to try to find me a better book this weekend). I am stumped as I cannot find any pictures in my book with these pictures and I went thru every page. The first coin is 3/4 inch and has a lion with a sword in its paw. The flip side has a small hert. The second coin 11/16 inch with a dragon, word 'Candareens', flip side language symbols. The third coin, just some type of collectible but if you know when it was issued, I see that symbol on some old coins. This is the last of old identified coins I have at present. I appreciate all your help with the other few, helped me a lot and also to determine if worth my going one step further and getting authentification. (Thanks to you I've gotten good with taking pictures of my coins).

The coin with the lion holding a sword is from Iran. Looks like a 50 Dinars coin. The heart and small diamond is the number 50.

The second coin is from China. The writing and Dragon gives that away, I'd guess it was a 10cent piece (like Y# 180c) does it have a numeral 1 in the center of the writing?

Sorry, I have no idea about the "Freedom" token.

What toast said.

The lion-and-heart coin is Iran, from the monarchy period (the lion-and-sun badge is the symbol for the Iranian monarchy). It's a 50 dinars, of the type issued 1936-1953 AD; we'd need a closeup of the "heart"-side to pick the date.

The Chinese one is a provincial silver, most likely a 10 cent piece, and should have the name of the province, in English, above the dragon's head. The "candareen" is an old Chinese unit of weight. Can you give us a more closeup pic or tell us what else it says around the dragon?

The Freedom/No Cash Value token is a generic amusement/vending token, made to operate various kinds of token-operated machines - anything from washing machines to arcade games.
