swamperbob Pillar of the Community United States 5362 Posts	Posted 05/02/2013 2:22 pm The coin has been copied in the past and so a photo would be helpful to authenticate the piece as well. It is a scarce coin but not a really rare one. I would guess in an average grade for gold an original might be worth $1000 perhaps $1500. High grades go far higher. Report this Post to the Staff

I was thinking of taking it to a coin fare in July of this year to see if anyone was interested.
