Here are a couple of shot with my New Sony DSC-H5 my wife bought me for Christmas. I was crying about not being able to get some decent photos of my coins and she got me a surprise.
This was shot under flourescent light in an office type lighting arrangment at about f8 and 1/30 exposure. I set the white ballance up using a blank sheet of printer paper before I shot the photos and it turned out to be pretty accurate.

I haven't built up to 50 posts yet, so I can't use the gallery. I have some really high resulution photos I'll post as soon as I build up posts. I somewhere in the neighborhood of 4500 photos combine into 2200 head/tails shots. Most of them were taken with my older Sony Mavica camera, which surprisingly enough, did a fair job.

Do those coins have a grade with them? I was just trying to see what the grade might be and look for flaws.
