Hi all, just making a ongoing thread that shows my box of 60 that I am still working on. People are probably familiar with a box of 20 in which you have just 20 coins, usually they are expensive coins or coins that have a lot of eye appeal or sentimental value.

I can't do it as I like too many coins and cannot limit myself to just 20

I will continually upload pictures when I can as well as delete coins that I later do not feel they fit, I'm not here to brag about my coins at all. There are some that are cheap and others that cost a little bit more.

1st coin: 1879 CC $5

I think CC mintmark coins are neat and this one had a nice circulated look to it. Some call it "crusty" :) I've always been more into bullion however lately I have taken a liking to coins with history behind it.

2nd coin: 1891 CC $5

Again this coin has a nice circulated/crusty look to it that I loved. In fact this was my first ever CC coin and one of the first numismatic coins that I bought that made me turn from strictly bullion to bullion/numismatics. I enjoy PCGS, NGC, and ANACs coins, I will say I really like the way coins look in NGC prong holders.

3rd coin: 1937D Buffalo nickel

I really like the luster and toning on this coin. Not a expensive coin but something I just enjoy. I always wondered whats so interesting about Buffalo nickels however after seeing some really nice buffalos, I have begun to enjoy them!

4th coin: 1907 $10 Indian

I have always thought the $10 indian coin was a beautiful design. This one has a nice look to it and I'm happy that now I have a little extra income that I could purchase this one and add it to my collection.

5th coin: 1837 Capped Bust Half

I really like capped bust halves and 1837 is a neat one as its the only one in which the obverse says 50 cents. Nice design and this one had a bunch of die cracks on it that add "character" :) :)

6th coin: 1938 D MS67 Buffalo

Not expensive however pretty high grade, dripping with luster....whats not to like? When I saw this, I knew I had to get it and it wasn't very pricey at all!

Very good idea for a thread. Six great examples. Love the toning on the 37-D Buffalo. Thanks for sharing and I'm looking forward to your next 54 choices.

7th coin: 1847O NGC XF45

I got this because I wanted an older gold coin, not something from 1880 or 1890s and when I saw this one, I liked it! Nice crusty look which appeals to me.

8th coin: 1853 $10 NGC AU55 w/CAC sticker

Bought this a little while ago, the look of the coin just appealed to me. Bright and shiny coins are great but for certain demoninations, I prefer a circulated look. 159 yrs old......very cool I think

Can't wait to see more! Really a nice set of coins. Do you have a "D" gold?
