I hope that I am not boring you with "Guess the Grade".  The last one (1877) was kinda tough, this one should be...easier? I have complete faith in the CCF to nail this one. This Trade dollar is not as "colorful", but is sporting a huge die crack around the legend on the reverse. I would really like to have this one! Sweet!  Game on!   Edited by oih82w8

Wow, got to go MS-66 on this one. Razor sharp strike and only a couple small marks.

I have to agree. If that 1877 was a 65 this one has to be at least a 66.

I will say MS-66 but I would not be surprised to see a MS-67. Absolutely stunning coin!  |

Exceptional quality.
MS-67 is my guess, if not like all above thinks is a 66.

These Trade dollars are considered some of the " Legendary" coins, being among the top of their type. Edited by oih82w8

Fascinating circumferential die crack on the reverse!
I guess this die had a very short lifespan, because the detail is sharp.
I would also hazard to guess that the rest of this issue may have been struck with a lower die pressure.

Sorry for taking so long, I was putting in some long hours at my part time job to pay for my "habit"; "The 1875 mint state Trade dollar from the Legend Collection of Mint State Trade dollars. It is graded PCGS MS68 with a population of one and none finer. It is the finest by two grades.
