oh yeah wife got bit excited with another one she thought she had a wavey but turned out to be PMD I am quite sure .

Looks to me like a lamination flaw.

Metal Flaw / Lamination starting to peel,which means that the metal had some sort of contaminant in it when they were making it & it did'nt fuse together properly.
