I found this dime that has a weird inner edge that looks cleaned, but the inner rim appears normal.

With my untrained eye, it looks cleaned but I've seen similar coins that happen to be errors, so I need your opinions, professional or not.

Wish I had a better camera, but I guess iphone3 pics are better then nothing.

It is damage to the coin from a coin rolling/counting machine.
I thought maybe Grease Filled Die, but it looks like PMD IMHO.

That makes a lot of sense. I've seen round rings made from the coin rollers on the outer coins of a roll. Darn. :P
