what is the value of these coins. How does the shellacking affect the quality

Welcome!!

You would have to post some pictures to give us a sense of the grades. I have seen some lacquered coins that were truly mint state and others that were cleaned prior to the lacquering.

If there are too many to photograph, I would start with the key dates.....(1921 to 1926).

An Acetone bath should remove the shellac from the coins...
