You have seen this coin before, but it fits this topic perfectly!
The-Restored-Smackdown-II---Reunification
Aurelian, 270-275, took over the Roman Empire when both the west (Gallo-Roman empire) and the East (Palmyra, under Zenobia and Vabalathus) had broken away from the central empire. Aurelian reunified all three parts, and issued RESTITVT ORIENTIS (restorer of the Orient = East) to mark his reconquest of the East.
