Because this is badly corroded I am having difficulty identifing it. I am guessing it is one of the King Georges and maybe colonial, bust still can't pin it down. The back has what seems to be a crown sat on something with a figure bending out from it. Any help most appreciated.

George IV Irish halfpenny or penny (depending on planchet size!)

Reverse shows a crowned harp. Date below 1822 or 1823.

Last digit appears to be a 2, for 1822.

Thanks :) I think it is a penny as it is rather large, bigger than a pre decimal penny.

Sounds like a penny. The halfpenny is roughly the same size as a UK pre-decimal penny.
