Looking to get a grade and possibly a value for a family members coin. I'm just learning Canadian coins and I'm not ready to take on the world just yet.
Thanks for any help.

I'm not too good with grading by UK standards but I'd hazard a guess at gVF-aEF. Does it have the proper edge lettering?

Hi there I'd grade this coin at vf-gvf, value £100-£150 if its the LX edge type. If its the LX R edge type you could double that.

UK grading NVF/GF a good honest coin but don't kid yourself.
CGS would grade lower.

BTW retail about £50 to £100 so about £40 would be my limit but I wouldn't buy less than GEF....or save for decent early copper.
