Hi

I Have been going through some of my grandfathers things after he passed away and come across a coin and I am not sure if it is real or not.

any advise would be much appreciated below is a brief description.

George IIII sliver coin 1822 I think it is a crown. When looking at the head the rider on the back is upside down

Looks real but scrap silver value only.

Check weight etc here

Not a collectible grade unfortunately, worth about a tenner in scrap. Sell it on ebay you might get a little more it. My advise to you is to keep it and hoard as much silver you can. Because one day the price of silver will explode!!
