I haven't been detecting much recently due to too many other things to do , Today I returned for a few hours of detecting finding around $5 in change , however the highlight was in a school wood chip playground I got a signal and to my surprise found a 1949 D Roosevelt in Fine condition YES !! My first silver coin in at least a year

Thats pretty good! At the school near me, they recently took up the top layer of grass and soil to put down new sod, and I was able to find almost 10 in face value silver. I have never been able to figure out why some of it goes down deeper than others!
