The Characters look Chinese to me, and the depiction of the man looks dressed in that time period, but I think you should ask to move this to World Coins section, you will get more precise answers.

In my opinion it is cast copy of a rare pattern dollar.

One yuan but I'm 99% sure this is a cast counterfeit.
