Thank you so much for your response. I actually have two of these coins and both are different. One is larger with smaller print, and the smaller coin has a 'fatter' print. The coins are in very poor shape, including 'pitting' on the smaller coin. Due to the aged wear, the coins are a pair, for only the one has the identifying marks on the reverse side.
My father was an avid coin collector, as well as a WWII Navy Vet, I have found many of his collections revolving around said era, from the countries and Islands he was in contact with. This has proven to be quite a challenge identifying these many coins with so many dialects.
