Part of a collection inherited from my grandparents.

No history other than it found its way into a bag of coins from either my west coast grandparents or my east coast grandparents. I can't find record of a pool hall on 1009 Kansas Ave in any state.

I would love to know the location of the pool hall, the approx year, and what one might expect to purchase for 2 1/2 cents at the time. I'm guessing one piece of a two-for-a-nickel candy. lol This is my favorite piece from all the bag of coins I just got.

That must be it, thanks!

These coins were jumbled together so I don't know if this came from my Mom's side or my Dad's side. But neither set of my strait-laced grandparents would have ever set foot in a pool hall, and neither set ever lived within 1000 miles of Kansas City or ever had cause to travel through there. I wonder how it came to be in their possession. Must have been a gift souvenir from one of their traveling friends.
