Also a junk silver bin find, looks like a 9/9, does not appear in the 2014 Charlton, but I think pginrh mentions that there are so many varieties of re-entries that not all can be listed, so pg, what do you think ? pginrh Valued Member Canada 456 Posts	Posted 12/09/2014 08:14 am The 1944 is a die chip that is relatively easy to find (I know one dealer who has 10 of them squirreled away hoping that it would rise in value, but it never gained the popularity that the 1949 hoof-over-9 die chip did)... This coin was struck in a relatively late die state. Bob L. is correct, a Cud is caused by a piece of the die that has broken off at the rim so the 1944 is not a Cud.
