When I acquired my Jeff Nickel set, I felt the War Nickels needed to be upgraded, so as I found them I would upgrade.
A couple of weeks ago, I came across these babies. (the case does nothing for them photo wise)

Difficult to offer an informed opinion on the coins based on those photos.

Lots of toning ... grade not so sure?

Horrible photo...They are in a set case right now.
I was toying with the idea of leaving them in the case instead of busting them out and putting them in My Dansco.
given the fact that I want better pictures...It may be time to free the Jeffs
Still working out the kinks and getting used to my new camera.

The nickels in the case might be MS, they look nice, but have toned quite a bit in that holder. Maybe an acetone soak will help. Don't let me be the one to suggest a quick dip Maybe someone else can comment on dipping a silver nickel. Better photos would help also

If mine I'd put the best ones in an Album, use the second best for a second Album.
Rest in Peace

I don't think acetone would be good on these nickels. I would try a quick silver dip . but only if they are not worn at all. ( UNCS. )
