In the grooves of the Northern Lights rays. A couple of spikes coming out of the bottom. Check it out and let me know what you think. Report this Post to the Staff

SilverDon Pillar of the Community Canada 2360 Posts	Posted 09/15/2015 5:39 pm Just looking at the northern lights grooves and the tool marks being in the deepest part of the groove, that would be a raised part of the die above the field. The tool would file across the raised northern light ray and be transferred to the coin face, inside the ray(s) and to the adjacent field where the file marks end. Trying to recreate the sequence of events in the run up to the strike to get this result. Thanks for the replies. Confirmed tool marks. Report this Post to the Staff
