hi guys whats the weight of 1961 P and 1961 D Lincoln?
i search around 3.11g
I weight some of my coin I got 1961D 3.17g and 1961P 2.97g
and the rest I got mostly 3.07g

Sounds about right non-wheat copper cents average about 3 grams to 3.15 grams

Sounds like they are within the limits for the mint.

Official weight is 3.11 grams but there is a tolerance range of +/- .13 grams. So a cent from that time could weigh anywhere from 2.98 grams to 3.24 grams and still be considered the correct weight. Your 1961 P is just a hair light but by probably less than .01 grams, and if it is circulated it was probably within tolerance when it was new.
