Thinking of trying out the PCGS reconsideration or cracking a few slabs and going for an upgrade. This is one of my candidates. In a 63 holder but thinking 64 is possible. Worth it if it has a shot. Coin has some nice toning that is hard to capture. Nice eye appeal if toning is your thing. Grade? Thank you.

The below-average strike, the chatter in the fields, and the blotchiness of the toning would hold it to a 63, in my opinion.

I'm afraid I agree. That isn't one I'd gamble on.

I agree, an upgrade would be unlikely.

The toning should have little or no impact on the grade. Weak strike and some chatter probably limit this one to 63 but it certainly has a shot at 64 - it's a clean Morgan. Doubt the probability of getting 64 would be worth the regrade cost, however.

Thanks. I'll hold off on this one. Only have about $90 in this and 64s are going for over $300. Thought it might be worth it. I'll save my $20.

I would agree the MS-63 is the highest this would go.
