This is another coin that has been kept away. It has a very strange ear problem. Now first thoughts are PSD but There is no misplaced plating it is completely shiney orange plating.

I tried to get some good pictures but don't know if they are good enough.

Any thoughts are appreciated.

Okay then, but I expected that if it had taken a hit the plating would be displaced or gone and the zinc showing through. There is no damage to the plating; so it looks like it was hit and then plated. Which I makes no sense.

lol - Thank for checking it out for me. On to the next.

Depending on the hit. If it is deeper than the plating then the zinc shows through. If not, it did break the plating.

I was looking today at the reverse and now something new.

Picture yourself scooping out some ice cream. Where the flat of spoon leaves a smooth indent. Well, this is what I have on the reverse right side of the Memorial Bldg from the base to to the columns - again just like on the front the copper plating is in tact.

I have attached pictures but not sure if I am capturing it good enough. Very Strange.

Coin contact marks from damage received during circulation. (indent into a coin often means damage to the coin)
