Just a few of my notes I'm unsure of if I should hold on to, or pass back into circulation? Any suggestions? $20 Federal Note 1981  $5 Federal Note 1977  $1 Federal Note 2013.., now I believe I'm correct on this, that it is a mis print/error on ink?  NEW PICTURE UPCLOSE  Edited by Wsp8418

On the $1,do you mean the line between the L and portrait? Not an error. Looks like a bank teller stamp. The other,if they have a low run maybe keep.Wait for a pro to chime in though. John1  |

Yes the color is same as serial number ink to me and it actully is a full square/regtangle. Thank you Ill keep wait and see what other input.

Considering the condition of these notes, I see no premium over face value.
The ink marks on the $1 appear to be post BEP........not an error note.

Both the $20 note and the $5 note has a printing run of 99,840,000 (very high). If you like you can hold them but I would fold them.

Well for now Ill continue to hold on to them for my children. But, will know a good idea of what to spend first if needed to be. Thank you

You don't see a lot of small-portrait $5s and $20s floating around in circulation these days, but yeah, spenders given condition.

I'd keep the five and the twenty. They may not have any premium value, but those may be the only ones you can get without paying a premium.
I'd make a note to put with them that they do not have any premium value.

You could probably take that $25 and turn it into a graded $5 small portrait note... or at least pretty close.
