Any idea on how this would grade? I am totally lost with Buffalo nickels but would like to learn more about how to grade them.

I would also grade this coin at XF. Strike characteristics were typically very good on later date Buffalo nickels and especially Philedelphia mint, ( I am assuming this coin is a P mint ) making wear detection slightly easier.

Correct, this is from the Philadelphia mint. Thanks for the input. Now that I know this one would grade XF I can use it to grade the other Buffalo nickels I have.
