I have found a 1988 D penny.
Can you tell me if the ear looks like a DD to you? Also If The mint mark "D" Looks like DD too?

Not a DDO but looks like it might be a RPM.

It look like to be rpm-003 , check for markers in variety vista.com

It is an RPM:

The doubled ear is on the 1988P not D, These are the KNOWN more common ones:
