This pic dosen't do the coin justice, as the Brown area is actually more red. in the right light the green is very luminescent. Jaobler Pillar of the Community United States 6398 Posts	Posted 04/29/2008 12:20 am Looks MS-65 to me. The toning sure appears to be original. The small dark spots on Liberty's cheek, neck, and cap wing could limit the final grade. 1939-D Mercs are fairly common in full-band mint state and this one might qualify, but the bottom band may be incomplete.
