Great variety to have doctorman1941 now you need to find 2 more. Both have full T's and the second is at the A in GRATIA for doubling. The third the RP-ing on the left side of the D in CANADA.

Strach-man: You are learning well, grasshopper. The 3rd type (the first 2 have the A in either Canada or Gratia repunched), I ID by just seeing that NEITHER of those A's are repunched. The small offset of the D in Canada and its location of the offset is sometimes hard to see. If you see that the T in Victoria has been made full, and Neither of the A's are repunched, then you have the 3rd type.

I've been looking for one of these 1876-H cents with the repunched A in GRATIA since viper posted a picture of it two years ago. I found one finally. This isn't a very good photo, but it's the best I can do until I get the coin in hand. Are these scarcer than the one with the repunched second A in CANADA?  |

IMO, both of the re-punched A types are scarcer than the no re-punched A type. Nice coin you have there. I did know about the 1876 Full-T variety had a variety with no A's being re-punched. I thought the variety with no re-punched A's was the tougher ones to come by. Thanks for sharing that with us all.

Are there just the three dies with the re-punched T in 1876?
Strach-Man, you mentioned above in an old comment about one with re-punching on the left side of the D in CANADA. Is that a fourth one or just the third one without the repunched A's. I can see that re-punching on the D on the second coin viper pictured.

Phil When Rob posted his picture of his 1876 Full-T I learned something new. Rob's coin is the first 1876 Full-T variety that I have seen that has no A's re-punched and the D in Canada has no minor re-punching to it.
Rob's coin show us that the 1876 Full-T variety now has 4 different variety to it.
I refer to the minor re-punching to the D in Canada as the 3 variety which would make Rob's coin number 4.

Strach-Man, if Rob's coin doesn't have the re-punched D that would make 4 varieties! I looked at the picture of Rob's coin, but it's not a large enough photo for me to tell for sure about that D. A closeup photo of the D would help.
Viper's coin has a die crack at the I of DEI and Rob's doesn't, but those could be two die states of the same die.

Mine is the same die as Viper's. If you click on the PCGS photo, it expands. 3 types.

I also have all three type 1876 full serif T's the one that took me the longest to find was the doubled A in Gratia I have one of those but several of the other two
