I recently found my best die crack yet. I'm going to keep it regardless, but I'm curious as to how severe a die crack must be to add value.

Unfortunately, that's not a die crack. It's a linear plating bubble.

Generally, die cracks are not that straight. On copper-plated zinc cents (late 1982-present) plating bubbles are often confused with die cracks. The fact that it runs over Lincoln's bust is also a clue that it's a plating bubble.

A die crack needs to cover at least 50% of the coin or be very thick or be in an unusual area on the coin,IMHO.
