Washington 2007 Commemorative Quarter Missing "7"

davepcdr77 New Member United States 3 Posts	Posted 06/27/2018 10:37 pm Hey Everyone, While going through a roll of quarters, I found this little oddity shown below. I am looking for any reason as to how the "7" is missing completely from the date (2007). I see that there is some fading beginning at "Unum", but above it the 7 looks like it was never there in the first place. Can someone please help me understand the reason? Then after it was Struck Through Grease, it took a well placed hit, causing the metal to get pushed over and flattened? Errers and Varietys. Report this Post to the Staff
