coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 06/28/2018 07:44 am OK, now the real answer. It is not a RPM. It is not damage. So what is it? It is a broken post on the center part of the mint mark. The post broke off deeper on the die, than the fields. So the void gets filled in with metal rising above the mint mark. Then you have something to show them, rather than just tell them about what they will find going through coins. Pretty common error.
