I bought these two coins for 0.1$ in Romanian money because I thought they were so cheap. I know they are about unidentifyable, but hope you can help. It's the same reverse type (emperor marhing, holding labarum in front and dragging captive behind) but I can't pick the emperor on yours at all. The second one looks too far gone to be able to extract anything useful, except to say it looks from what remains of the portrait to be from the 200's AD rather than the 300's. echizento Moderator United States 23731 Posts	Posted 07/25/2008 9:29 pm The emperor dragging captive was a reverse used on coins from the mid to late 4th century. From what I can make out my best guess would be Gratian. Can't help with the second coin. Report this Post to the Staff
