Hi, it's what's called a " Dryer Coin". It may have been lost in a commercial drier, and over time the rims on the coin were slowly beaten in towards the center. Whatever happened exactly, it happened outside the RCM.
so as a Dryer Coin, the edges would come in that deeply and perfectly like that? There are no ridges along the outside edge like there are supposed to be, it's completely smooth.
malissa, whizzed is when you take a whizzer to the coin, spin it down to wear the coin down, and spooning is when you take a spoon and tap the out side of the coin continuously all around the outside of the coin, until teh ridge comes completley smooth and it starts to fold and widen.
