I don't know but I like it! Maybe a Retained Interior Die Break. Looks like a doubled spiked head! Very nice!

What's the date of that coin? Can you show a entire coin? It could be a new find!

We can definitely rule out zinc problems! Could you please take a clear pic of the obverse and clear pics of all the areas affected?

Well it's a 55. Pics aren't very helpful. I see one similar to yours listed SKH-1c-1955-03.

It is a Retained Cud and a spike head:

RCD-1C-1955-15 for the Retained Cud
SKH-1C-1955-03 for the Spike Head

I've sold a couple of these and they go for about $10 so not a bad find
