Hello,
I have a few error coins that I never really paid much attention to.
I am going to call this a higher grade coin so I would
like an opinion as to if or how much an error adds to or detracts from a coin.
Here is an 1852 US
Seated half dime. Starting about 3 oclock
and straight through to about 5:45 on the obverse is a die
flaw on the coin. There is almost a little distortion on the reverse at about 2:00.
Can some one of you go into detail as to what a flaw on this or any coin does to affect the desirability of a coin? Then in particular maybe explain this coin.
Again thanks in advance, Gary
