Its cool finding coins like these. A 2017 penny dated 2617 or the 6 seems to be a 9 upside down. Penny from the future maybe? Lol any thoughts...

Could be right. I took a closer picture as nest I could. Maybe it never fully struck. But it could be exactly what others said....a scratch.
