I have found my fourth "DDO-002", but no luck finding a DDO-001. I'd love to have one like the one Dave found.

I found this anomaly on a 2015-D LSC, too. I call it "ear wax". Little pebbles around the edge of the ear lobe. Probably plate blistering?  |

Congrats Carl your coin is now listed as the first 2015 D DDO-002 your name will be in the books FOREVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR lol

Thanks petespockets55. Was good find. I am thinking if the DDO ear is in the 2015/18/19 there could be some popping up in the 2016/2017 some day soon. I have some of the 002's and I also have a different one that will be a 003 if I get off my lazy butt and send it in lol. Edited by Daves Errors

Dave's Errors, I sent, what I thought was, a 2015-D LSC DDO-002 to Dr. Wiles for his collection and he stated that it was not a DDO-002, but a different variant than either the DDO-001 or DDO-002 and was "too, minor" to be attributed on CONECA. The die marker on the reverse (die chip/crack on edge of shield) didn't match up with the DDO-002. I sent, on Monday, seven examples of the 2015-D Doubled Ear to John Wexler; he seemed to be more interested. |

Carl: Can you post a pic of the coin? It's odd how some coins will be listed and some are to minor for listing. They are still ERROR's But minor ones. I have a lot of RPM's that are so minor, so not worth sending in cause they most likely wont get listed. I have 2 more different stages of 2015 D DDO error. One I will send in and it will most likely get a 003 listing I think. And the other one is minor most likely like yours I would guess. If they say its to minor then that's what it is. |

It is kinda a slim mark Not as fat and bold as the other's. Must be why he said nope. You could send him a email asking why  . |
