This is the second pickup from the show I took my dad to yesterday. Both of these are fairly common but the price was right and I love Morgans... :) Hi-res pics again, what do you believe the grade to be?

BTW, this is a VAM-12A. Really nice clashing on the reverse...

I'll say MS-64+ on this.

My guess is MS-65. I made that guess BEFORE I saw Frog's response, happy I was so close to an expert like him since I'm just a newbie.

I have to say, I'm feeling 63, with the cheek chatter and the marks on the reverse.

63, seems like an average strike on the chest feathers.

Soft strike, nice original surfaces. The obverse is a bit baggy, and the scuffing on the upper cap, lower cap, and cheek is consistent with MS-63. The reverse is much better, and looks to be MS-64+/MS-65. I'm at a blended MS-64 here. At 64, I wouldn't be surprised with some eye appeal price adjustment, though, because of the obverse.

I'd say MS-65. Some frost breaks on the cheek, but not a lot of deep marks.

Looks like some coins I got out of rolls. Nice/clean on one side, lots of chatter on the other. I'd go over-all MS63. That... stuff... on the rim can be cleaned up making it a little nicer.

the 88(P) is known for just average strikes. I think this one falls into that category so strike doesn't add or detract from grade. the eye appeal of the obverse will impact it but probably only a half-grade. I think its going to be short of 64 due to that. MS63+
