This was a couple years ago. Took her almost 3 days to birth 14 babies (lower count for scorpions). When the baby is birthed the mother holds with her hind legs until it is strong enough to climb to her back where they live for the first 1-2 weeks. As I mentioned, it's a slow process, each baby taking about an hour to breach and move to her back. Then a break period for mom and then on to the next. Couple more images on this off topic. The mother, who sadly passed last year at the age of around 6-7, was a voracious eater during her pregnancy. Also pictured is a baby at 2 weeks. Report this Post to the Staff
